
MATT DUNCAN
Matt played at the University of Kansas. Matt stayed on to coach at KU before joining Dave Bingham for 6 years. He then went to South Dakota State University to help bring that program to a Division I status. After returning to Lawrence he opened Triple Play Academy. In 2010 he began operating Next Level Baseball in New Century and in 2012 opened the Big Springs location.

BRANDON JOHNSON
Brandon Johnson pitched two years at Hutchinson Community College where he broke the record for career wins. He then pitched at the University of Kansas where in his Jr season he was 8-3 with 7 saves with a 2.59 era. He was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week, April 15, 2003. Johnson helped lead KU to their first-ever appearance at the Big 12 tournament. He was the pitching coach at St James Highschool from 2006-2008 before moving to a position as a Pitching Coach at Lawrence Highschool from 2009-2011 where he helped lead the 2009 Lions to the 6A State Championship. Brandon was also the Kansas State director for USA Baseball from 2011 through 2015..

ERIC CHERAY
After graduating as a 3x state champion from Seaman High School Eric went on and played at Missouri State University.
He was a 4 year starter, 2 time All league selection and drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 2014

After playing at Olathe South, Kyle went on to play baseball at Johnson County Community College and Missouri Southern. Kyle also spent a season coaching at McCaulry Catholic High School in Joplin, MO.

Mike Hill
Mike Hill begins his 22nd season as the head baseball coach at Free State High School. The Firebirds have claimed 8 Sunflower League Championships, 9 Regional crowns and appeared in the state championship game 4 times, winning state titles in 2006 and 2015. 73 Firebird players have moved forward to play at the college level, including 25 Division I players. Free State has had 48 all-state players and 157 all-Sunflower League honorees. Hill is a 7-time Sunflower League Coach of the Year and the state of Kansas Coach of the Year on three occasions. He was a finalist for the National High School Coach of the Year in both 2006 and 2015.
